NLZ REVIEW: 'Dorobucci' Could Have Been Better With D'Banj On It?

We know it's kind of weird talking about how D'banj's presence with Mavin would have made the crew's new release hotter than it is right now but, we can't help than pointing it out.

Of course, D'banj left defunct Mo'hits records years back, and Don Jazzy was smart enough to do away with Mo'hits, forming Mavin afterwards.

Since D'banj was the leading act of Mo'hit and his era was gone, Mo'hit was lucky enough to secure a better lead in the person of Tiwa Savage. Not only has Tiwa proven herself to be one of the best, other artistes like Dr. Sid and D'Prince are also forces to reckon with. Not also forgetting its new entrants; D'ija, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello.

Okay, back to Dorobucci. When the team song landed, everybody, including little children and elderly people, went crazy about it. And now, the song has almost turned into a national anthem.

Dorobucci- it's Makossa beat is enough to make the hard-to-please dancer get to his feat and rock.
Then it's seemingly meaningless lyrics makes it even more exciting as you could mix"Dorobucci"with just any word of your choice and would still blend with the beat. Such a fantastic team song, but...

It could have been better with Kokomaster, D'banj. Come to think of it, the nonsensical characteristic of the song's lyrics, fits perfectly with D'banj's kind of person. Have you started to imagine what we're talking about now?

D'banj being the playful type and a true entertainer, he could have mixed'dorobucci'with funnier words capable of making us laugh our hearts out.
So at this point, we would say Mavin missed a great act in the person of Dbanj because he would have added more fun to the team song.

Aside that, other artistes on it did a good job- such a fun song.

    That's not true. because there was no much avenue for other artist to showcase what they have cos is was alwaz d'banj. But his exit has brought to lime light gr8 talents and entertainment and has also proven Don baba to be the best producer in Nigeria. DoroGalant
